Nina Simone and Anita O'Day

12+1963JazzСША, Япония

In these concerts from early in her career, jazz sensation Nina Simone exhibits the preternatural vocal, piano, and songwriting skills that have always kept her from being pigeonholed by any single label or classification. Included here are performances from two New York concerts in 1961 and 1962, as well as performances from a 1963 Anita O'Day concert filmed in Japan.
